Where does your household land? StatCan's headline medians by family type, plus a rough percentile estimator.
| All economic families | $108,900 |
| Families + unattached individuals | $75,500 |
| Two-parent families with children | $133,900 |
| Unattached individuals | $41,000 |
| Median market income (before transfers/tax) | $69,800 |
StatCan does not publish simple household-income percentile cut-offs, so the estimator above is rough: a log-normal distribution anchored on the published median for your household type. It answers "about where am I?" — not "exactly which percentile." The medians in the table are hard data from the Canadian Income Survey 2024 (released April 2026).
